People think that surgical treatment is the way to cure the anal fistula.
But there is the permanent treatment for anal fistula in Ayurveda. Major cause of this problem is impaired digestion. Hence in Ayurveda main emphasis is to improve the digestion fire and support the proper digestion of food. In anal fistula, small channel develops between the end of the bowel and the skin near the anus.

Open sores form in the skin around anus which cause the burning and sharp pain during the bowel movement.

It has been found that people with constipation are great sufferer of anal fistula. HOME REMEDIES FOR ANAL FISTULA

Turmeric

To cure the anal fistula it is wonderful herb. It acts as natural antibiotic and also possesses the detoxification properties. Moreover anti-inflammatory of this herb are due to the presence of bioactive compound - curcumin that helps to manage the pain in anal fistula.



How to Consume: Mix the turmeric powder and honey in warm milk. Let it cool down and drink this before going to bed.

2. Aloe Vera

Aloe is recognized as an effective home remedy to cure the anal fistula.

It is packed with the healing and pain-relieving properties which help to ease the symptoms of anal fistula.

How to Use:

5. Nirgundi (Vitex negundo)

Avoid spicy and hot food items. Drink plenty of water. Avoid constipating foods like bananas, cheese white rice, and other dairy products, chocolate, large amounts of red meat, chips and fried foods. Maintain a proper hygiene try to clean and dry the affected area as moisture can increase the risk of bacterial infections. Do not keep sitting the same position for prolonged period of time as it may buildup of moisture in the anal area.
